Explanation about KCJ Contest Scoring Click
KCJ Contest held in every August is one of the major CW contests in Japan.
Our Contest Exchange is unique – RST report plus two alphabets, such as TK for Tokyo,
meaning a Japanese Prefecture/District. This makes a contact short and eventually,
makes it possible for a participant to work at a higher rate.
Thankfully, we are welcoming more and more participants from abroad. Based on this
fact, in order to make KCJ Contest popular all over the world and much more enjoyable
for them, we made several revisions of the contest rules for KCJ Contest in and after
2021, and for KCJ Top Band Contest since 2022. According to our new rule, a foreign
participant gains one point by a contact with another (Previously, no points).
And the Contest Exchange for a foreign participant is changed from Continent Code to
CQ Zone Number (for example: not NA but 03).
As you well understand that KCJ Contest Committee completely engage in cross-checking
both logs: from you and the station you worked. Therefore, YOUR LOG SUBMISSION IS
INDISPENSABLE. We really appreciate your kind cooperation. We do hope foreign
participants have more fun with those revisions and enjoy KCJ Contest further.
Good Luck!
